Our 6 Step Process To Quality Exterior Painting:

- Pressure washing - Over the years the substrate accumulates dust particles where algae and mold grow to make sure we have a clean surface we use a 3500psi pressure washer and clean all exterior.

- Preparation – During this step we make sure all loose, and peeling paint is removed using manual scrapers and mechanical sanders. Also, all opened joints on siding and around trims are caulked with a high quality caulk.

- Priming – We use oil primer for all bare wood areas to provide a hard surface for the finish to bond. Even when using self-priming paint, in bare wood or wood such as cedar, we still use oil based primer. Depending on the situation, sometimes we prime all exterior siding.

- Masking – The most efficient paint application method is through airless sprayers. However, the process is messy. To prevent the overspray on your plants, roof, driveway, windowpanes, light fixtures, etc. We make sure they are all protected with plastic, and tarps.

- Painting – This is the fun part. We use airless sprayers to apply the paint to most siding and some trims. To make sure the paint is evenly spread and thoroughly, we backroll with a roller during the spraying process. Some of the trims, such as the fascia boards we apply the paint with rollers. The doors, shutters and gutters are also sprayed. Most contractor roll or brush the gutters, if you look at you gutters – if they were painted- you will see the brush or roller texture, by spraying we make sure you have a smooth high quality finish.

- Cleanup – We do a daily cleanup of our job site. Every afternoon, before leaving, we make sure that all ladders and tools are in one inconspicuous place out of your way. In addition, all garbage generated, masking papers, tape, plastic, paint cans, caulking tubes, etc. We collect all of it in bags and dispose of it. We would never use your trash cans to dispose of the waste generated on the job.
